Local Agent Supports The Salisbury Playhouse

Lettings Office Expands
The Amesbury office of Jordans has recently appointed Sarah Doyle to its management team. City Homes Show Proves a Success
Jordans together with local financial services firm Hudson Green & Associates teamed up in this year’s Homes Show at Salisbury Guildhall. Despite the monsoonal elements Jordans together with Hudson Green were able to co-ordinate a raffle and undertake a Scalextric timed race among many of Salisbury’s budding drivers. Such was the popularity of this event, Jordans and Hudson Green were able to raise in excess of £100 for the Stars Appeal at Salisbury District Hospital. James Jordan from the firm commented “despite dreadful weather conditions we thoroughly enjoyed the day and have met many clients in the Salisbury area that are considering selling or letting their properties, and this really was the back drop to what became an event to raise much needed funds for a local charity. The Amesbury office of Jordans reports its offices have seen a record number of sales agreed in a seven day period. Clare Jordan, Branch Manager at the Amesbury office reported “we are thrilled to have agreed sales on a number of our clients’ properties during the past seven days with a total value approaching £1 million”. She added “demand has certainly increased for property over the past month” and the sales that have been agreed include the following:
- White Cottage, Durrington which was for sale for £229,950.
- 27 Robbins Ridge, Amesbury which was on the market for £161,950.
- 35 Cygnet Drive, Durrington was for sale with an asking price of £157,500.
- 9 Carpenter Drive, Amesbury which was on the market for £214,950.

LOCAL AGENT JOINS FORCES WITH LOCAL SHOPKEEPERS
Salisbury and Amesbury based independent estate agent Jordans has recently launched a new concept in the house buying and selling process. Working alongside various shopkeepers throughout the area Jordans will be advertising and promoting village properties in each village shop. James Jordan from the firm explained “often the village shop is the heart of the village community and we understand the need for extensive marketing on a national and worldwide basis; however we felt the time was right to provide a very local service to each village working alongside the shopkeepers.” He added “this additional advertising bears no additional cost to clients selling in the villages, but does increase exposure to the local marketplace. Jordans Enter Tug of War Contest
Headed by James Jordan and a band of merry men, Jordans entered the annual Odstock and Nunton village fete tug of war contest. Following a healthy warm-up in the beer tent Jordans rolled out in style, finishing a disappointing third. James Jordan added “we thoroughly enjoyed this annual event and were disappointed this year to have had a number of injuries. Roll on next year!”
